I really loved the whole trip, especially the first half. It was very satisfying.
First of all, speaking about school program. At my first “attempt” I got in Upper intermediate group, where teacher Nivine saw that I was pretty bored, so I got a little higher, on advanced level. In the second group, even more charismatic teacher Tom finished my program. I liked both of groups to be honest, students, material and etc. Everything was on sky level.
Second of all, I want to mention food. I really liked it, in the Rove hotel, and “after classes” meals next to university also was a nice surprise for me, person who eats a lot. The only place I thought had a bad food is hotel which we visited before Abu Dhabi trip, it was cold, and there were lots of kids who basically took all the food.
Speaking about hotels. Rove hotel, where we stayed, was amazing for its rating. Gym, swimming pool, tasty buffet - I liked it all. The most comfortable part of all, in my honest opinion, was the shop, which had almost everything you need on daily basis. Sweets, snacks, even clothes and souvenirs!
Trips. I think best of all was the one in Dubai mall for sure, because it was the most entertaining and “profitable” in comparison to others. I bought lots of stuff I wanted to buy in first place, and also we saw singing fountains here, with perfect look on Burj Khalifa in KFC. Second best trip was definitely global village, where lots of cultures and people were connected together. The looks, prices and atmosphere is the best thing I ever saw in my life. But, I think the worst one actually was trip to Ferrari Park - almost half of main roller coasters was on maintenance checks, and we saw everything we could in approximately 2-3 hours, and we still had 5-6 hours more, which was the survival, rather than excursions. Lots of people, no interesting places, high prices - you should definitely plan this part of the trips more carefully next time.
Also I want to mention people we “connected” in our trip to Dubai. First person who we got friends with is JJ, our guide for most of the time. He’s very friendly guy with great sense of humour, which always could wait for us and talk if smth happened. He should definitely get a raise. Then, I wanna mention our fellow Brazil friends - sadly, we became friends too late, in the last 2 days. But, they are really cool, noisy and funny, no way I won’t miss them. Their leader was hitting gym with me sometimes.
