Information about VI International Fair "Education Abroad - Step to the Future!"

Dear Colleagues,

The organization committee has the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the 6th International Fair «Education Abroad — Step to the Future!»   The Fair shall take place from February 13th till February 23nd, 2010 in Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Tyumen and Perm.

The Ural Region is an important and significant part of Russia. Ekaterinburg is the capital of the Ural Federal District, which covers an area of about 2 million sq. km. The territory possesses the main oil and gas fields in Russia, and the richest deposits of iron and polymetallic ores. The world largest metallurgical enterprises are located in the Urals, concentrating here due to the great industrial and intellectual potential. Sverdlovsk region is one of the most developed and advanced regions in Russia. It is situated far from ethnic conflict areas and is politically stable.

Ekaterinburg houses General Consulates of USA, UK, Germany, Czech Republic, France and, Bulgaria and Hungary, as well as diplomatic representatives of many other countries.  You can easily reach our city by most foreign air-companies. For example, Lufthansa flies regularly from Frankfurt, Czech Airlines from Prague, Austrian Airlines from Vienna and FinAir from Helsinki.

The Education Agencies and Centres, organaizing the Fair, started functioning since 1993. All of them are successfully working with students of all ages, from school children to grown-ups. The range of the programmes we offer is very extensive, starting form shot-term vacation coursed and up to MBA programmes in the leading world Universities. We are the members of WYSE Travel Confederation, ALTO and Urals Tourism Association. Each year we send several hundred students to study in more than 20 countries of the world, in close collaboration with our partner organizations.

Over 10 000 students and their parents from cities of the Ural region visited our Fairs. This year we expect even a greater number of both participants and visitors.

Please be informed that our Fair is an all-Urals one, as it is linked with the Fairs in Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Tyumen and Perm. The proposed schedule is as follows:
